White Marinade

This marinade doubles as yummy sticky sauce. Delicious on chicken nibbles, lamb and fish. Combine ingredients in a saucepan and slowly bring to the boil. Cool your White Marinade completely. Pour over chicken, lamb or fish and marinate for 1 – 4 hours, or over night. Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes, or until cooked.

2 cloves garlic
1 cup DYC White Vinegar
¼ cup honey
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon dried rosemary or 2 tablespoons of fresh
10 centimetre piece of orange rind
2 tablespoons oil

Crush and peel garlic.
Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
Bring to the boil.
Remove from the heat and cool completely.
Use to marinate chicken or lamb.
