Buffalo Chicken & Bacon Slider

Sliders are great when you’re entertaining a crowd. These ones use a deliciously soft brioche bun combined with crunchy fillings and flavour-packed sauces.

1 bag Brioche Gourmet Slider Buns
1 bag Inghams Crunchy Butter Milk Fixx Chicken Tenders
1 125 pack Farmland Thin Sliced Streaky Bacon
Ranch Dressing (see recipe below)
Spicy Buffalo Sauce (see recipe below)
A handful of salad greens

Ranch Dressing
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp dried dill
1 tsp DYC apple cider vinegar
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

Spicy Buffalo Sauce
1/2 cup tomato sauce
3 tbsp DYC apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
50g salted butter, cubed

Make the Ranch Dressing: Whisk all the ingredients except the fresh chives together in a medium bowl. Season to taste, adding more salt if desired. Fold in the chives and set aside. Store leftover sauce in the fridge. You can add a little extra milk if you want a thinner, pouring consistency for the dressing.

Make the Spicy Buffalo Sauce: Combine the tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder in a small saucepan. Bring just up to a simmer over a medium heat, stirring occasionally. Whisk in the butter until the sauce starts to come together and remove from heat. Cool to room temperature before using and store any leftover sauce in the fridge.

Cook the chicken tenders according to the packet instructions and cook the bacon in a frying pan or airfryer until crispy. Cut the cooked rashers in half.

While the chicken tenders are cooking, lightly toast the slider buns, cut side up, under a grill for a couple of minutes.

Spread the bottom bun with a good dollop of Spicy Buffalo Sauce, then place a few salad greens on top.

Place a chicken tender on top of the salad, then a couple of pieces of bacon, and drizzle with Ranch Dressing. Top off the slider with the other half of the bun and enjoy.
