Ant Deterrent
Ant Deterrent Ant invasions can sometimes be deterred by washing counter tops, cabinets and floors with white distilled vinegar. Do not use on granite worktops and as with all cleaning agents test in an inconspicuous place first.
Floor cleaner:
1/2 cup DYC White Vinegar
5L warm water
Multipurpose cleaner for around windows, counter tops and cabinets:
½ cup DYC White Vinegar
1½ cups water
Thinly pared rind of ½ an orange
Spray bottle

For floors: Vacuum or sweep the floor. Then wash with vinegar and water mixture, ensuring that the mop used is well wrung out. Allow to air dry. Do not use on unsealed wooden floors.

For counter tops and around windows and cabinets: Use the multipurpose cleaning recipe above in a spray bottle. Wipe and allow to air dry. Do not use on granite worktops.
