Cleaning tile grout

Washing tiled floors with a mop often results in dirty, discoloured grout. Try this as a simple way to clean the grout and the tiles too.

DYC White Vinegar
Baking Soda

1
Place ½ cup baking soda in a large jug.
2
Slowly add ¼ cup DYC White Vinegar, allowing the foaming to subside before adding more vinegar.
3
Pour this mixture into a plastic bottle with a narrow nozzle.
4
Shake before using.
5
Use the nozzle to draw the mixture down the grout line.
6
Leave to dry.
7
Remove the dry mixture, wiping, brushing or vacuuming it up.
8
Use a wet brush or toothbrush to scrub the grout, using more of the paste if necessary.
9
Wash with clean water.
