Clean shower curtain

Clean mould and soap scum from your plastic shower curtain using white vinegar. Vinegar is a natural germ and mould killer. Here are a couple of methods to make cleaning your shower curtain easier. Note that using your washing machine will provide a more rigorous clean, but it can shorten the life of your shower curtain.

DYC White vinegar

Baking soda & Laundry detergent (method 2)

For light marks, spray with a 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar.
Allow to soak and then scrub with a brush or wipe with a paper towel.
For larger areas or when you want a deeper clean: Remove shower curtain from rungs.
Place in the washing machine along with an old towel (this helps to balance your washing machine load and get a better clean)
Add laundry detergent and 1/2 Cup baking soda & wash on a warm wash & add 1 Cup of white vinegar to the first rinse cycle.
Remove from the washing machine before the spin cycle and hang out to dry. This will help to prolong the life of you curtain.
